TCA Precipitation of Protein Samples

Bar Break


  1. Add 10% TCA to protein sample to a final concentration of 3-4%.
  2. Let sit 2-5 minutes.
  3. Remove supernatant.
  4. Resuspend precipitation in a neutral or alkali buffer. (100 mM Tris-Cl, pH 8.0)
